Fry Street’s Finest Wednesday Night Meet

Went to check out the FSF meet in Denton and when I got there I was asked to setup a drift course for RC Cars.  Although there weren’t any I still think that I set up a pretty awesome course and little Ady had fun running around it imitating a drift car. It happened to be my take on the Mexican Standoff course out in Mineral Wells.

I ran into a buddy of mine that I hadn’t seen in a while and he had a surprise for me.  I’m a big fan of the S-chassis and weird swaps… This one tripped my out.  It had Acura wheels and a Toyota power plant.  It was powered by a 2J!!!! Although it was N/A he plans to boost it when the time and funds are right.

Stumbled across a another s-chassis with tons of mishimoto goodies and a pretty clean eclipse. I wanted to take more photos, but I was too busy talking cars with everyone.

PF Tuesday Night GTG @ LA Burger Presented by: napakalabis|media

Thanks to everyone that came out to the monthly PF GTG! Its nice to step away from the cars sometimes and just enjoy the friendships made through the car world. Its also awesome to have a restaurant that let you take over 90% and stay open late and have good food and better service.

I’m the shot master! Hopefully everyone enjoyed the shots of soju…

Cant forget about the cars… Some people were amused with the Blanton’s sleeper LS Gen Coupe. Oh and it was Eight6 Day so we cant forget the 86’s!

Happy Eight6 Day!

This past weekend the AE and FT 86 guys got together in Austin, Texas to celebrate Eight6 Day. A group of us cruised down from the DFW area and that was a voyage on its own, with more than half the cars not having AC in the 100*+ Texas weather.  We all met up on night one at Pho Thai Son in South Austin for dinner and a get together for early comers.  After eating some amazing pho and hanging out in the parking lot we headed out to K1 for the Renegade meet.  It was a fun cruise up to North Austin, but it did hurt two cars which took them out for the cruise the next day.

The next morning we met up everyone at Round Rock Donuts, but we filled up their parking lot and surrounding lots really fast so we moved to the good will lot around the block. After standing around with our hands in our pockets for a couple of hours we got ready to head to Lime Creek Road.  We couldn’t go without losing some cars and breaking one or two on the way. We all finally got to the start point, took some pics, set up GoPros, and got ready for the fun.  We were led by Brandon driving the Natsukashi Garage F20 Powered AE86, who showed us what an Eight6 could really do.

We stopped at a gas station near the end of the road so everyone could catch up and start our journey to Salt Lick. After arriving at Salt Lick we grubbed down and racked up over $1000 tab without the alcohol! We took the rest of the afternoon to rest and repair the cars.  Some of the group headed back to their home while the rest of us prepared for 6^th Street Natsukashi Garage style!

Let’s say we partied a little too hard and we had a much needed breakfast at Juan in a Million in the morning before we headed back to the DFW. I would like to thank FT86, 86 Garage, and Natsukashi Garage, for the invite and the hospitality down there!
